(01)What it does
Snapspend turns a photo of a receipt into a tidy expense. It reads the shop, the date, each item, the tax and the total, picks a category, and lets you check everything before it's saved. You can also add an expense by hand in a few taps.
Every week and month gets a clear report: what you spent, how it compares with before, which categories and shops took the most, and how you're pacing against your budget. Share a report as an image whenever you like.
The Money Coach answers questions about your own spending — where the money went, what's safe to spend for the rest of the month, where to cut back — and offers tips built from your numbers.
Your expenses and receipt photos are stored on your iPhone. Snapspend AI is optional: with your permission, receipt photos and Coach questions are sent to OpenAI to be read; without it, everything is done on the phone. Snapspend is a budgeting tool, not financial advice.

- Your expenses and receipt photos are stored on your iPhone, not on our servers.
- An account (Sign in with Apple or email) is used to protect the AI service and link your subscription.
- Snapspend AI is optional and asks first: receipt photos and Coach questions go to OpenAI only if you allow it.
- OpenAI does not use them to train its models, and your name and email are never sent.
- No advertising and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- You can erase your expenses or delete your account from inside the app at any time.
